1. Band-e Amir National Park
This is the first and most famous national park in Afghanistan. It is known for its stunning series of six deep blue lakes, formed by natural dams of travertine, a mineral deposit. 2. Nuristan National Park
Nuristan National Park is located in the mountainous and heavily forested region of Nuristan, in eastern Afghanistan. Nuristan is also culturally significant, home to the Nuristani people, who have a unique heritage and history.
3. Wakhan National Park
This park is part of one of the most remote and rugged regions in Afghanistan. It includes the Pamir Mountains and is home to a diverse range of wildlife, including the snow leopard, Marco Polo sheep, and ibex.
