Carlsbad Caverns National Park Tickets Price

There are two main types of fees to enter Carlsbad Caverns National Park:

  • Entrance Fee: This fee allows you to enter the park and explore the surface features, such as the Walnut Canyon Desert Loop and Rattlesnake Springs.
  • Cave Tour Fee: This fee is required to take a guided tour of one of the park’s caves. The most popular cave tour is the Lower Cave Tour.

Carlsbad Caverns National Park Tickets (Entrance Fee)

  • Adults (16 and older): $15 per person
  • Children (15 and under): Free
  • Pass Holders: Free (America the Beautiful Pass, Golden Age/Senior Pass, Annual Pass, Access Pass, Military Pass, 4th Grade Pass)

Carlsbad Caverns National Park Tickets (Cave Tour Fee)

  • Adults (16 and older): $20
  • Children (10-15 years old): $10 (Note: Children under 10 are not permitted on the Lower Cave Tour)
  • Senior and Access Pass holders: $10 (Note: You must also purchase an entrance ticket to take a cave tour)

Reservations: Carlsbad Caverns National Park has a timed entry system. This means that you will need to make a reservation in advance to enter the caverns. There is a $1 reservation fee per person. You can make reservations online https://www.recreation.gov/ or by calling (877) 444-6777
